To enhance the quality of life for families, individuals and the community. By seeking out and providing services that are consistently available, accessible and responsive to the needs of individual families and groups seeking assistance, and to work with the community and volunteers to facilitate and provide these services.

In 2006 we opened The Reaching-Out Center (ROC). Our mission through ROC is to assist low-income families in our area by providing food, basic life necessities, clothing and job training resources in a loving and supportive environment. Everyone in need is welcomed no matter their background, race, or religion. The ROC has already adopted several other worthy causes in our community including a food pantry at the Fort Hood Army Community Service food pantry (feeding military families who are in need). The ROC is currently located 15630 Vision Drive in Pflugerville, TX and is open every Friday from 2PM to 5PM.

In the very near future the Capitol Area Food Bank will be partnering up with our Reaching Out Center in an effort to merge our resources to reach more people. We are very excited about this and are looking forward to seeing the impact this partnership is going to have on Cental Texas families.
